What we carry

From Ergoplastica we carry PETG in 1.75 mm. This is the 3D printing plastic you pick when a part has to work, not just look good: brackets, enclosures, outdoor fittings, prototypes under load.

Why PETG

• it bends before it breaks;
• it holds up against moisture, weak acids and alkalis;
• it barely shrinks, so large parts stay on size;
• no enclosure required.

What to keep in mind

Stringing is the usual PETG trait and is cured by retraction tuning. The filament absorbs moisture readily: dry a damp spool for 6-8 hours at 60-65 °C. PETG holds sustained heat up to roughly 75-80 °C - beyond that look at ABS. Exact printing temperatures are on the spool label; the full material guide is at PETG.
