Who StarPlast are

StarPlast produces filament in Russia, in the Samara region (Bezenchuk), on its own lines; the company states it controls diameter stability and winding quality. From this maker we carry PLA in 1.75 mm.

Why PLA

PLA is the 3D printing plastic people start with: it prints at a low temperature, barely shrinks and needs no enclosure or extraction. It holds its dimensions and renders fine detail well, which makes it right for models, prototypes, miniatures and decor.

What to keep in mind

PLA does not take heat: above 50-60 °C a part will deform, and it is brittle under impact. For loaded or warm parts look at PETG or ABS; the helper matches a material to the job. Exact printing temperatures are on the spool label.
