Polycarbonate (PC) starts where ABS runs out: per the maker's data a part works from -40 to +120 °C, with impact resistance above the standard plastics.
The Polus Pro Engineering spool: 1.75 mm, 0.5 kg, transparent. Made in Russia.
PC is a demanding material: high printing temperatures, an enclosure, and the strand must be bone dry. Exact settings are on the maker's label.
Recommended use
Critical engineering parts, transparent pieces, fittings for heat and frost.
Limitations
Hard to print: high temperatures, an enclosure is mandatory, very hygroscopic - dry before every print. Not a beginner's material.
