Description
ASA is a relative of ABS: the same strength and heat resistance, but it does not yellow or crack in the sun. It is the go-to plastic for parts that live outdoors.
Traektoriya 3D spools: 1.75 mm, 1 kg, made in Russia.
Like ABS, ASA is printed in an enclosed printer on a heated bed. Printing settings are in the ASA guide; exact temperatures are on the spool label.
Recommended use
Outdoor mounts and enclosures, car and motorbike parts, garden fittings, anything that stands in the sun.
Limitations
Needs an enclosure and a heated bed. It smells while printing - ventilate the room. For small decorative prints PLA is easier.
