Description
PLA+ is polylactic acid with toughening additives: a part that would snap in plain PLA usually survives in PLA+.
The StarPlast HIGH SPEED line: the maker rates it up to 300 mm/s on fast printers. 1.75 mm spool, 1 kg. The yellow colour comes with a silk finish.
Printing settings are in the PLA+ guide; exact temperatures are on the spool label.
Recommended use
Toys, enclosures, mounts, functional prototypes, high-speed printing.
Limitations
Heat resistance stays that of PLA: parts deform at 50-60 °C. For long outdoor life choose PETG or ASA.
